The grade 2 and 3 trip to Pittsburgh Children's Museum will return at about 6:00pm.

Reminder that tomorrow is field day. Please make sure students come to school in clothing and shoes that can get wet as well as a full change of clothes for after the events.

Parents/Guardians of Band and Choir Students, We are very excited to be hosting our final Spring Concert for band and choir students on May 28th, at 6:00pm. Please intend on arriving at 5:50pm so that the concert may begin in a timely manner. This concert is not only a celebration of the hard work the students have been giving for this entire year, but a celebration of the past 50 years of being a polar bear. The school day for students is now 7:40a-2:50p. Parent drop off is 7:40a and pickup is 2:50p. Tardy time will be 8:00a. The bus schedules can be found on the county website by clicking departments and transportation. We hope to see you tonight for Back to School Night from 5-6:30p.

Schools will administer the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA) for Grades 3-8 this spring. The WVGSA is a test measuring academic progress for students and schools in West Virginia. The WVGSA is an untimed test administered online. All public school students will participate in the WVGSA at the grade level in which they are enrolled, unless they meet the criteria for participation in the West Virginia Alternate Summative Assessment. Students in Grades 3-8 will take the English language arts (ELA) reading, ELA writing, and mathematics tests, with students in Grades 5 and 8 also taking the science test. Student scores will be accessible to parents/guardians shortly after the completion of a content area test. More information and specific dates and times will be posted at a later date.
